The right people for the right job

We were asked by a well-respected broker to work with a first-time developer on a project in South London involving the demolition of an old commercial premises and the erection of a pair of new houses. We helped with the finance companies’ requests and provided a comprehensive analysis including attending project team meetings.

Points of note are that the broker identified early the need for some assistance and helped avoid any mistakes.

The appointment of the correct contractor is essential. Ensuring the full package was available from the outset meant that there were minimal chances for mistakes in interpretation as well as the dreaded variations.

By taking the time to set out a project right, and by having an exceptionally good architect, engineer and contractor on board, a project will need less micromanagement throughout the build and there should be no overspend.
