CASE STUDY

Radwell House

Dating back to the 16th Century, Radwell House is a stunning Grade 2 listed manor house. Situated in the rural village of Radwell in North Hertfordshire the property is located a short drive from historic Baldock town and is close to the A1 motorway link to London.

Steeped in history, and boasting a wealth of period features, Radwell, which had previously been split into a number of individual rental dwellings, had become tired and was in need of a full refurbishment.

The client and owner of Radwell House enlisted the help of Henderson & Partners to project manage the full renovation of the house, including the re-application of planning, which had originally been obtained, but had subsequently lapsed before works had started.

The team at Henderson & Partners worked to fully survey the property and successfully re-applied for planning on the clients behalf. They offered development advice throughout the refurbishment process and acted as employer agent, monitoring the project throughout. They appointed their own team of trusted contractors to complete the works.

The house now sits as two impressive 5-bedroom houses, two 2-bedroom flats and a 3/4 bedroom house all completed to an exceptional standard.
